Lyn Snow lives and works in South Thomaston, Maine. She is known for the clean lyrical approach she brings to her watercolors. She captures and paints the mood and essence of flowers; the elegance and romance of a wedding bouquet, the charm of wildflowers and the drama of irises.
Individually or in collection, her work continues to gain national recognition. Her originals and limited edition prints have been shown widely and are available at fine art shows, numerous local and regional galleries and on the Internet.
What started as a small art studio has grown into a family business. The old farm house has doubled in size to incorporate a large and busy studio and frame shop. In addition Lyn has opened a gallery of her own, at 369 Main Street in Rockland, Maine (207-594-3090). The gallery contains a selection of Lyn's original watercolors, the two giclees, and the limited-edition & open-edition reproductions. Winter hours are only on Fridays & Saturdays, 10 AM to 5 PM. After Mother's Day, the gallery will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM.
